I am fascinated with creation after destruction, creating a new form after the initial impact that will contain a completely different structure depending on which act has taken place. Chance, spontaneity, the infinite number of possible outcomes, the nature of materials, colliding mediums, the mirroring of the macrocosm and the microcosm: these are my obsessions. I work with an attempt to balance chaos and work with exploring the human impulse to destroy and the obsession to assist with the aftermath.
