Conceptual self-portraits that lies on the edge of dreams and emotions by Cordoba-based photographer and designer Luciana Rodriguez, also known as Anemites. The surreal compositions combines the physical and the emotional and explores the dark and painful aspects of life by turning them into beautiful experiences. Rodriguez strives to create works that transcend the reality we see to a reality we can deeply feel and to show that these emotions are universal.
This series of conceptual self-portraits is the result of a quasi-psychological exploration—a game through the cathartic method in the search for emotional, physical, mental and spiritual purification. It is a journey into an intense and dark whirlwind, perhaps looking for compassion or empathy.
