One of the coolest speakers I've seen in a while resembles a floating cloud that flashes as it plays music. The cloud entitled Making Weather by designer Richard Clarkson and Crealev, a company that specializes in creating levitating products, floats 1 –2 inches above a reflective oval base made possible by magnetic components. The cloud has full rotational movement and slight vertical bobbing, to make it more realistic, and is made from clumps of white polyester fiber. It has built-in Bluetooth speakers and sound-reactive LED lights to resemble lightning. Although Making Weather is currently a prototype, the designer hopes to make it commercially available soon.
