Sculpted Currency by Paul Rousso
Hyperrealistic sculptures of crumpled money using heat infusion on plexiglass. The large-scale pieces of American dollar bills as well as international currencies can be hanged on the walls and reach dimensions of 4 x 5 feet. Rousso also sculpts other oversized discarded items such as candy wrappers and magazine pages.
To me it seems quite logical that eventually in the progression of art, someone would do away with the illusion of three-dimensional space and paint the mountain in the background exactly as the tree in the foreground. Cezanne's work at the time was quite shocking for the viewer of his art, as they had never seen anything like it before.
